Arai Corsair X Helmet Review

The Arai Corsair V has evolved into the Arai Corsair X. This is the next step in helmet design technology. You will love all of the new safety features available in this helmet and its overall riding performance.

The shell of the Corsair X is made of unique synthetic fibers that multiply strength without adding to the overall weight of the helmet. This feature is truly amazing because the helmet remains light so your neck will not fatigue without sacrificing your safety.

VAS shield provides the lowest pivot point of any helmet on the market. This makes for a smoother shell surface that redirects impact instead of absorbing it. The VAS visor is very clear and uses a Pinlock insert and de-misting latch to prevent fogging and condensation. You can easily remove and replace the visor using the quick-release lever.

The interior of the Corsair X uses an eco-pure liner. It is fully removable and is made of antibacterial material. A chin curtain helps to reduce wind noise and the neck roll is removable. You can also remove the padding near the temple for a more comfortable fit if you head is large. This helmet feature emergency release technology in case of an accident.

The padding has been lined with the Arai Dry Cool liner to absorb sweat and keep you cool. This liner also provides a more comfortable and secure fit.

The peel-away ear pockets enable you to use headphones or a Bluetooth system while riding. This is very convenient to have if traveling longer distances or riding with friends.

The Arai Corsair X is DOT and Snell certified, which makes these helmets very safe and 100% street legal. You can purchase this helmet confidently knowing that your head is protected.

The superior ventilation is one of the best ways to keep you cool. There are exhaust vents located in the neck roll to remove heat inside of the helmet quickly and efficiently.

The upper front vents welcome cool fresh air and quickly pushes out stale air using additional exhaust vents on the rear sides. A scoop system is incorporate for a more even airflow throughout the helmet. You can customize the ventilation system using the vent toggles and are very user-friendly, even while wearing gloves.

The eye port is wider than normal. This increases your overall peripheral vision so you can see more of what is around you. This visor allows for a more flush fit against your head, resulting in a tighter seal to keep your head dry on rainy days.

This helmet is more advanced thanĀ the Corsair V and definitely worth a look. It is very safe and provides all of the features needed for a serious rider. It will keep you cool and provides a secure seal around your head for ultimate comfort and protection. If you don’t like this helmet then check out some of my otherĀ helmet reviews.
